Abstract

India is a country in this world where many types of dialects are spoken, where many types of religions are located, many types of castes are located, where many types of tribes are located, one of them is the Bharia tribe, which lives its life in the ground about 3000 feet below the inaccessible hills under Patalkot, which is known as a sub-caste of Gond society. It is uniquely cultured for its folk traditions and its festivals. Even today, the entire Bharia tribe residing in Patalkot is deeply connected to its folk dances, folk songs and festivals and under no circumstances does this tribe consider itself separate from its traditions or festivals. Due to some reasons, at present the Bharia community has become particularly attached to the Hindu social traditions, which can be seen in the daily activities of this community and they have also started following the gods and goddesses worshipped by the Hindus due to which the shadow of Hindu society can be seen in their festivals and folk traditions in Patalkot.
