So, it is only commendable and a valuable asset for the state when Chhattisgarh has not only managed to generate enough electricity to fulfill its own needs, but also has produced in excess year after year. CSEB (Chhattisgarh state electricity board) is in a strong position to meet the electricity requirement of the state and boasts of a good financial health.

But on the other side of the coin, such a massive production of electricity has also resulted in air pollution which is proving to be a huge threat to health of the denizens of the state.
2016-11-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/234From Pollution to Progress: Integration of Plastic Waste Management and SDG’s2025-07-17T18:52:06+00:00Anjalianjalipanwar0502@gmail.com
Every aspect of human life is impacted by plastic, including technology, packaging, home appliances, cars, buildings, water transportation, museums, hospitals, and educational institutions. Plastic is increasingly being used to improve industrial operations because it is a less expensive raw material. The packaging industry is one industry that has profited immensely from the surge in plastic consumption, creating more job possibilities across many nations. Plastic grocery bags and food scraps make up the majority of non-biodegradable domestic plastic waste. Plastic is increasingly being used in numerous electronic components, such as integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, chips, and light-emitting diodes, as a result of recent advancements in the electronics industry. Because plastic is malleable in terms of shape, fabrication, and customer-friendly qualities, especially when it comes to aesthetically pleasing agricultural equipment and components, the production of plastic parts has increased in the biomedical, agricultural, and automotive industries. Road pavements are made with asphalt mixtures that contain over 90% by weight of recovered plastic waste from municipal and industrial sources in an attempt to lessen the strain on landfills and the need for extraction. This paper attempts to identify causes of mishandling of plastic trash and gaps in available legislation, as well as to provide solutions. The research seeks to analyses a legal answer to the prevailing problem of plastic trash.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/233Negotiating Nationhood: Hybridity and Belonging in Desai’s The Inheritance of Loss2025-06-04T20:07:59+00:00Shambhavi Mishra shambhavimishra.com@gmail.comProf. Rakesh Kumar Pandey rakeshpandey1110@gmail.com
This paper explores the complex themes of hybridity, nationhood, and belonging in Kiran Desai’s The Inheritance of Loss, a novel that intricately weaves the personal and political consequences of colonial legacy and global migration. Drawing on postcolonial theoretical frameworks, particularly Homi K. Bhabha’s concept of hybridity and Benedict Anderson’s notion of imagined communities, the paper examines how Desai portrays the fractured identities of characters caught between cultures, histories, and borders. Set against the backdrop of the Gorkhaland insurgency in 1980s India and the immigrant experience in the United States, the novel presents a nuanced critique of the dislocation and alienation faced by postcolonial subjects. Through an analysis of key characters—such as Sai, the retired judge Jemubhai Patel, and Biju—the research highlights how national identity is negotiated through cultural ambivalence, historical trauma, and the longing for rootedness. Ultimately, the study reveals how Desai’s narrative underscores the contradictions inherent in global modernity and the search for belonging in a postcolonial world marked by displacement and loss.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/232Social and Gender Biases: A Legal Study with Special Reference to Deviation in Women's Leadership in Panchayats2025-06-04T19:45:15+00:00Akanksha Soniakankshasoni231192@gmail.comDr. Anushka Mishra Nayakdranushka.law@lnctu.ac.in
This research paper explores the social and gender biases that influence women's leadership in the Panchayati Raj system of rural India. The objective of the study is to understand how traditional social structures and gender-based perceptions affect the role, decision-making power, and autonomy of women representatives. The research analyzes how women's leadership is impacted by social norms, patriarchal structures, and legal challenges, and examines the ways in which these biases challenge female leadership in panchayats, as well as the conditions under which women are able to overcome these barriers and play active and influential roles.

Although constitutional provisions have ensured reservation for women in panchayats and provided them with opportunities for leadership, in practice, their leadership is often recognized only in a formal sense. With an emphasis on partner rights, societal issues, and judicial viewpoints, this study critically examines the legal and social aspects of cohabitation in India. The paper examines the changing legal framework that regulates these kinds of partnerships, particularly the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act of 2005's acknowledgment of rights pertaining to maintenance, inheritance, child legitimacy, and protection from domestic abuse. It also looks at how, in the lack of a particular legislative framework, the SC and many High Courts have interpreted the rights of cohabitating partners. From a social perspective, live-in relationships remain controversial due to deeply rooted cultural and moral values, often facing stigma and lack of societal acceptance. The research highlights the contrast between legal acknowledgment and societal resistance, analysing public perceptions, gender dynamics, and the impact of such relationships on marriage and family structures. Additionally, the paper discusses the challenges in establishing the legitimacy. By assessing judicial precedents and legal gaps, object of study is to provide the necessity of a comprehensive legal framework to safeguard the rights of live-in partners while addressing societal concerns. The findings underscore the need for balancing personal autonomy with social stability, advocating for progressive legal reforms in India.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/230The role of community radio in the preservation and revival of Chhattisgarh's folk art and traditions, with special reference to Radio Raman2025-06-04T19:19:08+00:00Shweta Pandeyspshwetapandey78@gmail.comDr. Shailendra Singhdr.shailendra2000@gmail.com
India is renowned across the world for its rich art and cultural heritage. The collection and analysis of the data with unbiased attitude enhance the understanding of any subject. Research Methods are the different techniques for doing research. Research Methodology is the comprehensive study behind taking up any particular type of Research method. Upaniṣads are termed as Vedanta. Vedānta means the essential outcome of the Vedas and is the knowledge portion of the Vedas. Kaṭhopaniṣad is one among the primary Upaniṣads. The Research is on the most basic question, what happens to a man after death? The research methodology in Kaṭhopaniṣad is the anubandha catuṣṭaya; means, four-fold in nature and content. The three basic steps in Upaniṣads for realization śravaṇa manana nididhyāsana are the research methodology and Kaṭhopaniṣad is no exception. The kind of śravaṇa will be varying in the different Upaniṣads. The sages impart the knowledge to the disciple according to his temperament and the need. Researches in the Upaniṣads have always focused on the highest principles of Dharma and Mokṣa. The sages of the ancient Vedic age were like Scientists, engaged in the deepest form of Researches with utmost unbiased outlook. They were eager to impart their knowledge and experience to the fit recipient without any thought of return. Literature and Environmental studies together are known as Ecocriticism or Environmental Criticism. Ecocriticism aims to explore the environmental dimensions of literature and also other media. The significance of environment and natural world in poetry, fiction and non-fiction in literature is not only to connect human race with nature but also for evoking and promoting contact with it and to enhance the imagination and value nature preservation. The central interest in Literature Environment studies have been the concept of place. The place creates the atmosphere for the reader and gives him the opportunity to unite with it. This enchanting acquaintance with nature has been very beautifully captured in the poem Elegy written in the Country Churchyard written by Thomas Gray. Literature by itself an interdisciplinary study always gives an opportunity for Environment to develop and excel in its own creative form. The aim of this paper is to explore the Environmental significance and the impact laid by it creating the atmosphere of gloominess. The environment of the poem beautifully developed by Thomas Gray leaves the reader enchanted and captivated. As Sindi balances the Eastern ideas of duty and belonging with the Western ideals of individuality, the book explores issues of alienation, identity crisis, and existential detachment. His nomadic way of life and unwillingness to develop relationships represent the conflict faced by postcolonial people torn between two realities. The story offers a complex viewpoint on the difficulties of cultural hybridity via Sindi's journey, finally arguing that genuine belonging originates from inward reconciliation rather than outward affiliations. This research highlights the critical role of constitutional education in shaping informed and responsible citizens. The Constitution, as the foundation of governance, outlines citizens' rights and duties and promotes equality, justice, and democracy. A lack of constitutional knowledge in school education has profound consequences, including civic apathy, social inequality, and weakened democratic engagement.

Without constitutional awareness, citizens may fail to understand their rights and responsibilities, leading to vulnerability to exploitation, disregard for laws, and environmental neglect. Marginalized communities suffer disproportionately, unable to assert their rights or challenge systemic inequalities. Democratic institutions weaken as voter apathy, policy disengagement, and lack of government accountability flourish, fostering corruption and inefficiency.

Constitutional literacy empowers citizens to demand transparency, equity, and efficient public services, essential for sustainable economic growth. It also promotes national unity, fostering respect for diversity and collective responsibility. Integrating constitutional education into school curricula is vital for nurturing democratic values, social equity, and economic stability, ensuring sustainable national progress.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/221An Analytical Study of Freedom and John Mill's on Liberty2025-03-21T18:00:49+00:00Dr. Rajendra Kumar Meena drrkmeenalaw@gmail.comRaj Kumar adv.rajendra1990@gmail.com
Man is a social and farsighted being. He lives in a welfare state so that he can develop his personality with the fundamental rights (Articles 14, 19, 21) and human rights (Universal Declaration of Human Rights-1948) contained in the Constitution. It is the duty of every state to provide appropriate conditions, rights, resources and justice for the development of the personality of society and citizens. A person can develop his personality in all aspects while using his rights only when there is no restriction or prohibition on the person regarding their use and these conditions are equally available to every person in the society. Freedom is naturally inherent in a person from his birth in the form of a human right. Freedom is a value as well as a means of other values. Freedom is a natural right of man. J.S. Mill has used the meaning of freedom in the sense of independent activity and also in the sense of personal freedom. Man can use maximum freedom but his freedom can be only that as per the declaration of human rights, 'freedom to do anything without harming others. This paper explores the multifaceted role of AI, particularly how it serves as both a facilitator and a disruptor within IP frameworks. AI technologies enhance the capability to manage and protect IP assets by improving tracking mechanisms for infringement and copyright issues, thus allowing for more efficient enforcement and compliance strategies. Additionally, AI can aid in the innovation process by providing tools for patent searches, neural patent translations, and automated identification of potential IP conflicts. However, the integration of AI into IP also raises significant challenges regarding ownership rights, originality, and the extent of protection afforded to AI-generated creations. The evolving dialogue around these issues emphasizes the urgent need for adaptive legal frameworks that can accommodate the rapid advancements in AI technology while safeguarding the rights of creators and innovators. Consequently, the implications of AI in IP rights necessitate continuous research and policy development to balance innovation with protection, ensuring that both economic growth and ethical considerations are addressed in the ongoing evolution of intellectual property law.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/218Mahila Sashktikaran se Sambandhit Shaskiya Nitiyan Evam Karyakramon ka Alochnatamak Adhyayan (Madhyapradesh Prant ke Vishesh Sandarbh me)2025-02-03T08:38:08+00:00Pawan Sahupawan20092010@gmail.comHariom Maddheshiyahariommaddhesia@gmail.com
Women are the foundation of society. In Indian society, women have always been given the highest status and have been accepted in various roles. A woman is an eternal force who has shouldered numerous social responsibilities since ancient times. Despite this, she has been placed in a lower social hierarchy for a long period in Indian society. However, this does not imply that the social status of women has always been secondary.
If we look at history, it is evident that during the pre-Vedic era, women enjoyed equal rights and responsibilities as men. They were fully aware and active in their roles for themselves and society. However, due to a lack of education, the religious and social status of women gradually declined.
During the Mughal era, more restrictions were imposed on women's freedom, significantly curtailing their independence. In many ways, women were considered the property of men. They were bound by so many social constraints that their independent identity was almost lost, and their lives became confined to the household.
In the 19th century, major social reformers focused their social and religious reform movements on improving the status of women. As a result, several significant laws were passed, such as the Abolition of Sati Act (1829), the Hindu Widows' Remarriage Act (1856), the Female Infanticide Prevention Act (1870), and the Special Marriage Act (1872). These reforms significantly improved the social and economic status of women. As a result, women became not only economically empowered but also an aware and active part of society, enabling them to stand alongside men in every aspect of life.
Despite various government efforts, although there has been an improvement in women's status, challenges still remain. The increasing incidents of violence against women highlight the gaps that still exist. Crimes such as dowry-related murders, female infanticide, and various other adversities continue to persist. These issues have contributed to a declining gender ratio, and even today, many women do not feel completely safe when alone.
2017-02-28T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/217An Analysis of Prevention of Drug Abuse and Role of Community in India2024-12-06T19:42:49+00:00 Dr. Javed Ahmed Qureshi qjavedahmed@gmail.com
Drug abuse is one of the pinnacle issues confronting the nation nowadays, particularly some of the young people and Children. Resource depletion, pollution, and high energy consumption highlight the need for improved recycling, stricter regulations, and sustainable technology practices to mitigate these impacts. This topic holds significance in the present context as we live in the digital revolution era. It is of utmost importance to analyze and regulate technological advancement and focus on the sustainable way forward. This research paper highlights the causes and current scenario, its impact on the environment as the adoption of EVs increases the lithium waste which is not decomposable. Technology usually leads to environmental degradation by reducing forest covers, causing loss of biodiversity, and disrupting the balance of ecosystems, consequently leading to the acceleration of climate change. The resultant effect of technological advancement is e-waste, which can contaminate soil and groundwater if not well disposed of. One of the dividing opinions among speciesism advocates is that the interests of human beings should be considered first due to their perceived superiority rating. In view of these negative impacts of technology, some of the mitigative measures would be to have stringent environmental impact assessments for upcoming technologies with a focus on promoting sustainable development, holding producers accountable for the collection and disposal of e-waste through Extended Producer Responsibility, while incorporating e-waste management into Corporate Social Responsibility for a more comprehensive strategy, investing in research and development for sustainable technologies, and building collaboration between sectors. Finally, use international platforms for standard definition, technology transfer, and spreading awareness about e-waste recycling.
2024-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/215FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND EXPRESSION WITH NATIONAL SECURITY IN THE INDIAN SCENARIO: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY2024-11-10T12:45:16+00:00Ambar Srivastavaambarsri76@gmail.com
Speech is God's gift to mankind. Henry’s The Gift of the Magi2024-11-10T12:30:11+00:00Dr. Kusumika Sarkarkusumika.sarkar@gmail.com
The area of adaptation has always remained a ground of contest and conflict especially when there is appropriation and inter-medial translation influenced by culture. This paper is based on the film Raincoat, which is an adaptation of O. Henry’s well-known short story The Gift of the Magi. The change of setting as well as social relations, has raised the necessity of certain appropriations in the adaptation. Change in social relations forces the characters to be self-censored at every step, in every action. Yet, their social relationship can hardly censor the personal affection they share for one another. The intermedial translation of the silence, the unexplained actions and the unquestioned identification of certain characters reflect their ideologies as representatives of a particular culture. The objective of this paper is primarily to analyse this appropriation, which demands the characters’ denial to overthrow the social matrix. In the course of the study, this paper also aims to observe the inter-medial translations which, although shape the adaptation as an ‘analogy’, maintain a Non-Manichean predicament.
2023-11-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/213Navigating Emotional Echoes: The Stimulus-Response Paradigm in Kazuo Ishiguro’s The Remains of the Day2024-09-29T19:05:49+00:00Aiman Azeemazeem.aiman15@gmail.com
The theory of stimulus-response postulates that interactions between stimuli and the reactions they elicit might explain behavior and learning. According to the learning theory developed by behavioral psychologist B. F. Skinner, an individual is exposed to a stimulus, which elicits a reaction, and the response is then reinforced. This ultimately results in the conditioning of human behavior. By appreciating various interpretations and examining how meaning changes as a result of reader interaction, this method enhances literary analysis. One of Kazuo Ishiguro’s most well-known novels is The Remains of the Day (1989) which portrays the narrative of Stevens, an English butler who reflects on his years of duty and unfulfilled personal life. The book won the Booker Prize in 1989 and was adapted into a successful film, bringing Ishiguro international acclaim. Ishiguro, Nobel Laureate in Literature (2017), stands out as a unique and insightful writer whose books provide an engaging examination of the human condition through deft storytelling and provocative subjects. This research paper applies Stimulus Response Theory to analyze the novel which lends itself to multiple applications of Skinner’s stimulus-response theory, most notably in the way the protagonist, Stevens, displays behavior shaped by outside stimuli and reinforcement throughout his life. The novel’s complex narrative structure and profound thematic elements invite diverse responses, highlighting the subjective nature of literary analysis and the impact on Stevens’s journey and the novel’s broader themes.
2024-08-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://www.researchambition.com/RA/index.php/ra/article/view/212A Social-Legal Study in the Context of Law and the Emerging Personality of Women In 20242024-09-29T18:49:56+00:00Manju Sonisonipalak264@gmail.com
The evolving status of women in the 21st century has been a key indicator of global progress in the social and legal spheres.
